Listen to The live music of Samantha Moffatt, Vershire, and Kerry DeWolfe, Corinth, …"Guinguette" is the name of the dance-cafés which grew popular 100 years ago in the Paris region; it is also the name of a collaboration between accordionist-singer Samantha Moffatt and accordionist Kerry DeWolfe. They appear in trio as well, with award-winning guitarist, Ed Eastridge. Parisian café music, traditional American jazz, bossa nova and dance tunes from France and Quebec are some of the sounds you will hear when Guinguette plays. Evoking the ambiance of a small café, the lilt of a tea-dance, the pathos of an Edith Piaf ballad, these musicians appear regularly at dances, coffeehouses, community concerts and private parties in the greater Upper Valley.
Treat yourself to an Artesano ice cream cone, a "Pie from Two Guys", bakery items from Martha Becker and more at the PEACHAM FARMERS market noon to 3:00.
VISIT The Peacham Cafe until 2:00, the Peacham Corner Art Guild and Peacham Carriage Company (Antique Store).
