Special Guest Organist for Worship

Tough week? The East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church is open this weekend! (Not that we were ever 'closed.' We just didn't meet together during COVID.) The church will continue with our recording schedule for one more weekend - welcoming any and all who would like to join us - Saturday, June 19, 9am.

Most importantly, this weekend we welcome a special guest organist, Dr. Karl Moyer. Dr. Moyer was a friend and contemporary of John Weaver. He has a doctorate in organ performance from Eastman School of Music and is now retired from the music faculty at Millersville University, Lancaster, PA. News of John Weaver's death moved Dr. Moyer to create an organ transcription of Craftsbury's own E. E. Bagley's famous march "National Emblem" in John's memory. He'll play the National Emblem along with a few other organ pieces following our worship recording session this Saturday. It will be wonderful to worship together on Saturday, and hear our newly installed pipe organ played at the hands of such a master organist. All are welcomed to come. Masks are optional, recommended for those who are unvaccinated. Social distancing is also optional.

The following Sunday, June 27, we return to in-person worship at 11am. We hope you'll join us!
