The Salisbury Conservation Commission has organized another free public educational walk on the Pitch Pine Trail. Jim & Kris Andrews will lead the walk from 8:30 to 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 26th with Sunday the 27th the rain date. The Pitch Pine Trail has a wide variety of tree species ranging from Chestnut Oak and Bitternut Hickory to the Pitch Pines for which the trail is named. We will identify trees by the bark, buds, and leaves. The trail is 1.7 miles long and mostly flat. To register contact Jim Andrews by phone or e-mail.
