Roll Your Groceries Home!
Imagine taking your daily walk and getting your groceries at the same time.
It's easier than you may think. Walk to Shop is a local project designed to get more people walking more often, including you!
We will be demonstrating a spiffy, sturdy and lightweight trolley from 3:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 18th at Ethan Allen Shopping Center (on the green across from the Bagel Cafe & Deli). Stop by to try out the amazing little trolley that can carry up to 40 pounds with little effort. It rolls along smoothly and eliminates the tedium and potential risk of injury from carrying arm loads of groceries.
Enjoy the many benefits--from a healthy dose of exercise, fewer trips to the gas pump and your back will be forever grateful!
Take the Rolser trolley for "a test drive" - if you like it, you can buy one on the spot! They retail for about $79.99- available to you for only $35.00!
What's the catch?. All we ask is you commit to walk to the grocery store at least once a week and complete a brief survey in a few weeks' time.
Fun facts: Did you know that the most people that live in the New North End are only 1,500 steps from their favorite market, shop and services? That's about a 15-minute walk.
Use the trolley for all sorts of tasks: getting laundry to the laundromat, going to Leddy Park for a picnic, and gardening too.
Discover the easy way to carry your groceries, Friday from 3 - 6 p.m.
