Juneteenth is a holiday commemorating the emancipation of those who had been enslaved in the United States. It started in Galveston, Texas and is now celebrated every year on June 19th across the country.
Please join the Hinesburg Racial Equity Group (HREG) as we celebrate Juneteenth in Hinesburg, June 19th from 10am - 2pm at Lot 1 in Hinesburg, the grassy lot where the ice rink was.
