Special Election - Town Hall June 30

Calais is voting to elect a new Town Clerk and one new member to the Selectboard.

The Warning and sample ballot are at Calaisvermont.gov under Elections. They are also posted at the Maple Corner Store, East Calais Post Office, and the Town Office.

In-person voting will take place on Wednesday, June 30th from 7am to 7pm at the Town Hall at 1662 Kent Hill Rd.

Every Calais registered voter was mailed a ballot for the Special Election. Ballots can be returned by mail to the Town Office, brought to the Town Office drop box in the entranceway (available all hours) by Tuesday, June 29th, or hand delivered on election day Wednesday, June 30th to the Town Hall. The ballots must arrive by 7 pm June 30th to be counted.

If you choose to vote in person on June 30, please bring your ballot with you . If you lost your ballot or have questions about the voting process, contact the Town Clerk or speak with an election worker on June 30th election day.
