Dog Training Classes and Preparing Pets For the 4th

Training Matters animal training center's first post-vaccine mini seminar focuses on relieving seasonal distress many dogs experience in relation to loud noises: Fourth of July fireworks, thunder and other startling sounds. Debbie Jacobs provides expert help on addressing these safety hazards for dogs and their owners. $20 per family. Wednesday June 23 6 p.m. Register in advance by emailing sematters@gmail.com

Upcoming 4 session dog training classes include adolescent/adult manners and puppy classes. Adolescent classes are for dogs 6 months or older, addressing common problems like leash pulling, enthusiastic greeting, barking, jumping and not coming when called. Tuesdays 6:30pm First class June 22

Puppy classes provide instruction and play time to help get the little ones off to a good start. Thursdays 6:30 pm First class June 24
