The Annual Meeting of The Robinson Sawmill is scheduled for Saturday, July 17 from 1 pm to 3 pm. All are welcome. Come tour the mill, hear about our progress, vote on mill business, and share in some great food. Bring an appetite.
We're happy to have local historian Paul Gillies as our keynote speaker this year. The author of hundreds of articles about Vermont history, Paul will be sharing his insights into how Lane Manufacturing took hold in Montpelier and became the largest maker of portable sawmills in the world. It's sure to be enlightening and fascinating.
One bylaw change will need to be voted on by the membership: the Board is requesting that we change our terms from being voted on every year, to staggered terms of one, two and three years.
And the slate of Trustees being presented for approval is Larry Gilbert, John McCullough, Toby Talbot, Bill Davis, Reed Cherington, Peter Gill, and Chuck Storrow.
The schedule for the event is:
1 pm Eat, drink, and be merry
2 pm State of the Mill update
Keynote address
Voting by voice vote
3 pm Adjourn
We hope to see you there!
Larry Gilbert
