Join Andrea Myklebust of Mountain Heart School of Craft to learn the basics of how textile flax is grown, harvested, and processed for handmade linen. Participants will have the opportunity to observe textile flax growing at Smokey House Center, and will learn how to source and use the hand tools needed for traditional flax processing: the brake, scutch, and hackle.
