To All Who "Floated" Down the Brownsville-Hartland Road in the 2019 July 4th Parade and Those Who Wish They Had……..
After a year of isolation and a July 4th parade that couldn't happen because we couldn't gather, our theme this year is "TOGETHER ONCE AGAIN," to celebrate that we can again come together and enjoy the family, friends, neighbors and community that make life so wonderful.
This year, all events will be held on SATURDAY, JULY 3. Parade line-up begins at 12:30 pm and the parade will begin promptly at 1:00. Isn't this year the time for you to get together and celebrate your family and friends/neighbors by creating a float and being part of the parade?
Participating in the parade is simple. Just email Janet England through this FPF post NO LATER THAN JUNE 18 to receive an entry form, or to ask any questions you might have. Your "float," can be your car, truck, tractor, bicycle, horse – whatever! When possible, having signage on both sides helps advertise. Have fun!
There will be ribbons and cash prizes for parade participants in the categories of Most Patriotic, Most Humorous, and Best Celebration of the Theme.
