Catamount Arts has partnered with the St. Johnsbury Chamber of Commerce and the Town of St. Johnsbury to revive Hey St. J! #GetDowntown, a FREE, family-friendly performing arts series that will bring monthly shows and activities to downtown St. Johnsbury in June, July, and August.
The 2021 #GetDowntown series kicks off this Saturday, June 12th, from noon to 4pm, and includes circus arts, local music, artist talks, live painting demonstrations, shopping, refreshments, and more.
> Live performances at three locations featuring aerial silks performers Nimble Arts, and two local musical acts: The Barnyard Incident & John Gailmor.
> An Art Walk featuring the new St. J Art on the Street summer exhibition.
> Family-friendly activities, including life-size games, a community photo project, and information about a new NeighborUp! event from the St. J Hub.
> Live art demonstrations by Larry Golden.
> Engagement activities around the soon-to-come "Honking Tunnel" public art project.
> Dolcetti Gelato. Yum!
> Shop local rewards program, with the chance to earn a coveted St. J bag if you make five purchases at downtown retailers.
