The Golden Dome Summer Book Club for kids at SFL

Do you have an avid young reader in your life? Someone who would enjoy celebrating the return of the middle grade book club at the Stowe Free Library? Beginning June 16th at 4:30 p.m. young people in 4th grade and up are invited to join us on the library's front porch as we share our love of reading with a particular emphasis on the newly re-named Vermont Golden Dome Book Award. Enthusiastic Stowe High School students Sarah Evans and Isabella Mitchell will be leading these hour long gatherings under the guidance of SFL youth services librarian Nancy Rumery. We will meet alternate weeks throughout the summer to discuss books and participate in fun activities related to the state's student choice book award program formerly known as the Dorothy Canfield Fisher (DCF) Award. Pre-registration is requested.
