I am not usually drawn to comedy - the stand up kind. Yet I like to laugh, I love jokes and they don't have to be good ones to get me going. I especially love a recently discovered genre called "Dad Jokes," and I think siri's knock knock jokes are hilarious! I may be acquiring a taste for "stand up" comedy, particularly from comics who live in Vermont. Some of these people you are apt to see giving press conferences about COVID in the morning and telling us about their teenager in the evening and I'm listening and laughing! Well after a couple of ZOOM shows, Vermont comedy has a live show at Nectar's. Here are the details.

Comedy LIVE! at Nectar's is starting up again this coming Wednesday, Jun 9 at 6:30pm. This FREE show will feature some extremely funny, veteran Vermont comics, including Marlon "Big Fish" Fisher, Joel Klein, Meredith Gordon, Tracie Spencer and Kathleen Kanz - the first woman to win Vermont's Funniest Comedian Contest. (With Tracie Spencer being a two time first runner up!) The show will be in the big first floor room at Nectar's - which has just unveiled a brand new, delicious menu! Great food, great beverages, and the best in Vermont stand up - what more could anyone ask for??
