Our meeting will start with climate emergency reports from any member of the Council and then we will take up two special outdoor one-day-only entertainment permits for Zero Gravity on June 12. Our deliberative agenda includes the following items: (1) consideration of Mayor Weinberger's appointments (department heads and other positions) for the next fiscal year; (2) the appointment of a new member of the Board of Finance to fill the vacancy created when Brian Pine was appointed head of CEDO; (3) a resolution to rescind the City's COVID Emergency Order regarding wearing a face covering in retail stores and City buildings; (4) a resolution regarding the Chittenden County I-89 Study requesting that the focus of the study be away from increasing capacity on I-89 and toward maximizing reductions in vehicle miles travelled and creating a safer and more equitable and more sustainable transportation system in Chittenden County; (5) a proposed ordinance increasing the rate we charge private haulers to pick up solid waste from Burlington residents. These funds assist the City in funding our recycling program; (6) a presentation from Burlington Telecom that will update the Council on operations, future plans and other developments; and (7) a communication from the Chittenden County Solid Waste District seeking approval of their annual budget.

A link to finding all these items and supporting documents can be found at http://www.boarddocs.com/vt/burlingtonvt/Board.nsf/Public.

Thank you.
