Tea & Talks returns on June 6, at 4 pm. Join us on the first Sunday in June for an informal discussion, held via ZOOM, about actions that each of us can take to work against climate change.
Weather permitting, take your device outside and enjoy the spring air as we contemplate how we can reduce our carbon impact. Bring your questions and share your strategies on living more sustainably, especially as the pandemic subsides and we return to our former ways.
Conversation topics include a whole range of challenges: getting to cleaner soil, water, and air, eating more healthy food, getting plastic our of our lives, growing pollinator gardens, buying local, starting a compost, and working towards zero waste. We'll be exploring some of the solutions offered in the landmark book and website, Project Drawdown (https://www.drawdown.org/solutions/table-of-solutions). Grab some iced tea and ZOOM with us.
Monthly Facilitators: Liane Avery, Hank Ruppertsberger, Diane Foulds, and Cindy Heath, with support from the Plainfield & Cornish Energy Committees and the Plainfield & Cornish Conservation Commissions.
