Join the Friends of the Winooski River, Cabot School students and Cabot Creamery employees for a streamside tree planting. On Tuesday May 6th from 10 to 2, we will be working on two properties directly across from the school. Please contact info@winooskiriver.org or call 882-8276 for more details. On Wednesday May 7th from 2:30 to 6:00 (or a bit later if volunteers want to stay later) we will be working on the large open field just upstream from the recreation area on South Walden Road. Advance notice is appreciated but not necessary. You can park either at the recreation fields or at the pull- out a bit further up South Walden Road.
What to Wear/ Bring: Please wear long pants and closed toed shoes. Be prepared for inclement weather - we plant in the rain! If you have a shovel and gloves bring them. We also have some to use.
