TRAILS DAY WORK DAY 2021
National Trails Day Saturday June 5th our 24th year!
We need your help!
Weed Whackers Weed Whackers calling all Weed Whackers
We have about 2 ½ miles of trails to weed whack – trim up the sides of the trail. If we have enough volunteers we can clean the trails up in a morning.
String Trimmers, Heavy Duty Trimmers, We could use a walk behind trimmer up by the interstate bridge.
Other Projects: Brush cutting. We have two sections about 50 yards long [each] that need to be cut back. And there are other small spots need trimming.
One chain saw for small work. There are about 4-6 trees down need clearing. I like to cut these up and use them for "Cribbing" on the side of the trail.
I like have folks work in two to three people teams. Its safer to work together and the work goes faster.
