Join MALT for a National Trails Day! National Trails Day is June 5th, and our trails in Otter View Park are in need of some TLC. We have two fabulous projects to tackle in Otter View Park: poison parsnip removal and putting linseed oil on the boardwalk.
Why do we remove poison parsnip? Poison parsnip is a plant that runs rampant in Otter View Park and other recreational areas. It can cause a painful reaction on skin that touches it. We remove it so that we can continue to enjoy the trails in Otter View Park!
Why do we put linseed oil on the boardwalk? We put linseed oil on the boardwalk (and all other TAM bridges) to maintain the longevity of these bridges! Linseed oil helps keep moisture from rotting the wood on the bridges.

When: 8:30-11:00 AM on Saturday, June 5th (come anytime in that window)
