Come to the Poultney Public Library on Friday, May 9th at 7pm to delve a little deeper into The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. The novel, focuses around the painting, The Goldfinch, created by Carel Fabritius, which has been smuggled out of the Metropolitan Museum of Art after a terrorist bombing. Dick will be displaying his copy of the work that he created in 1996, after having traveled in the 1980s to see the work first hand. Richard Weis has been an artist and teacher for nearly 50 years.
