Free Introduction to Rowing a single "scull" at out boathouse on the West River.
You can learn to get into and out of a boat, and take a few coached strokes while tethered to the dock. RowBOC masters will teach, assist, and cheer you on.
Our clinic for new rowers is full already, but it's worth checking out this wonderful sport to keep in mind for next year.
Directions: Turn off Putney Road at the Marina Restaurant and drive beyond the restaurant to the quonset hut at the rail trail parking lot - park there.
