June 7th - Observing Nature
We'll read some colorful books full of plants and animals. After stories, you and your child can roam our fields gathering a few natural objects. Then, using what you've collected as inspiration, make some watercolor masterpieces using natural bark canvases!
June 14th - Sheep!
Baa! Join us outside for some sheep and wool tales! Then, dig your fingers into colorful yarns and learn how to finger-knit. This is a great first project for tiny fingers.
June 21st - Solstice celebration
Sun! Light! Warmth! Life! Celebrate the longest day of the year with some sunshiny books. After stories, we'll learn yoga sun salutations, and make some summer/sun-inspired art.
Please wear a mask to arrive and get settled, and anytime you will be interacting with others outside your pod. There will be physically-distanced spaces marked for families to sit - we encourage you to bring a blanket and sun protection. After stories, there will be a related craft -- project stations will be set up with plenty of space! We can't wait to see you!
