Vermont Dance Alliance presents Virtual Water Dance Film Festival June 3-5
As part of the 2021 VDA "Traces" Annual Dance Festival, Vermont Dance Alliance is so excited to produce a Virtual Film Festival of dance films based on our theme of water and water conservation. All artists were encouraged to fully embrace the theme of water as the initiative for this work. The film festival will occur June 3rd-5th, 8pm nightly on Youtube Live, free and available to the public.

Featuring works by six incredible artists! Namaya, Tina Forés-Hitt, Denise Townsend, Precious Jennings, Carla Kimball and Tracy Penfield.
The Outdoor dance festival of Traces will occur on Saturday June 12th, in three locations simultaneously: Montpelier, White River Junction & Burlington. Each town's event will feature an in-person workshop that merges dance and education with themes of water conservation, plus a display of water-themed dances at each location. The workshop will be free and accessible to the public, from 10-11am, and the tour of dances will begin at 11:30am. Traces celebrates the change into summer, dancing in public spaces, and connection of community.
