The Library would love your help in sprucing up our space in preparation for a lively summer. Please let us know (with an email or call) if you can join us for an hour or more between 1 and 4:00 next Wednesday, June 2. We're hoping for help with sweeping and vacuuming, cleaning walls and window sills, dusting the blinds, organizing books on the shelves, and more. We have some outside work sprucing up our back yard -- someone to weed whack an overgrown area and someone to clean out some blackberry brambles. We also would love for someone to take home our stuffed animals and dress-up clothes to run through the washer and dryer so they are ready for post-pandemic play. Finally, we would love to move a magazine rack attached to one wall, and need someone to bring a drill for that.
If you would like to help spruce up the library but can't make it next Wednesday, let us know that too! We will likely have some jobs leftover that you can do another time when the library is open.
Thank you everyone for your help and support; our volunteers keep us circulating!
