Burlington City Arts is hosting the final virtual iteration of our Family Art Saturday program, as we return to in-person family artmaking get-togethers in June.
Join us on Saturday, May 29 at burlingtoncityarts.org for a video art activity that connects with our recent BCA Center exhibition Pivotal Moments: Select Works by Diane Gabriel.
Inspired by Gabriel's geometric design drawings, BCA teaching artist Jessie Baldwin guides families in creating compositions on a variety of surfaces that explore grids, patterns, and repetition using found natural and repurposed materials. This fun and investigative mixed media activity evokes Gabriel's experimental approach to art making and her interest in nature, cycles, and transformation.
