The Old East End will honor US veterans at Greenmount Cemetery on Sunday, May 30 from 10 am to 12 noon. In an event organized by Jason Stuffle and supported by Burlington City Cemeteries, volunteers will be provided with a map to locate the headstones of veterans, including Revolutionary War Soldiers, Civil War Soldiers, a Buffalo Soldier, and soldiers that served in World Wars I & II. For each tombstone, we will replace an existing flag or if no flag exists, we will place one for the first time. After the flag placement, there will be demonstration of the amazing headstone transformation that is possible through the proper technique for headstone cleaning.

Come join us to learn about some local history, honor our veterans, and enjoy the beauty of Greenmount Cemetery.
