If they were, the Waterbury and Duxbury Historical Societies would like to hear from you. The Historical Societies are looking to identify current residents of Waterbury or Duxbury who are descended from families who were settled in Duxbury and Waterbury before 1810. The two societies are co-hosting a Remembrance Dinner on November 9, 2013 and will recognize those families who have maintained a presence in the area for 200 or more years. If you have information on the family history of early settlers to the area we invite you to attend a meeting on Thursday August 29 at 6:30 pm at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 56 South Main Street.
