Genealogy & Slavery Discussion Group - May 27

Past event
May 27, 2021, 6 to 8 PM

If you have questions about your family history in relation to slavery - whether ancestors who were slave-holders / enslavers, or ancestors who were enslaved - we invite you to join our local discussion group. We meet monthly to share our research experiences and to discuss the challenges that come from uncovering difficult, perhaps long-hidden truths.

Our meetings include an educational component helpful to both new and experienced researchers, and a time to discuss how our research connects to the current struggles for racial justice.

Our next monthly meeting is this Thursday, May 27, 6-8 pm, via Zoom. If you are interested in participating, please contact doriew@radicalrootsgenealogy.org for more information.

If you're curious or have questions, feel free to contact me (Dell).
