Dear Neighbors,

The South Burlington City Council will be holding a council meeting this coming Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Chamberlin School, starting at 7:00 PM. The focus of the council meeting is to meet with the residents of the airport neighborhood to present information on the long-range plans for the airport, the FAA Home Buy-Out Program and demolition, noise mitigation, and other topics pertinent to the neighborhood. The full agenda can be found at the following address:

Since airport plans, including its contract agreement with the Air National Guard, have direct consequences for us, everyone is strongly encouraged to attend this very important meeting. Even more important is that people, either in person or through an email, make their concerns known to So. Burlington elected officials.

Come in person, or email your comments and concerns to one, some, or all of the City Councilors, and the interim city manager:

Pam Mackenzie (pmackenzie@sburl.com), Pat Nowak (pnowak@sburl.com), Chris Shaw (cshaw@sburl.com), Helen Riehle (hriehle@sburl.com), and Rosanne Greco (rgreco@sburl.com), interim city manager, Kevin Dorn (kdorn@sburl.com)
