Genealogy and Slavery Discussion Group - May 27

Past event
May 27, 2021, 6 to 8 PM

If you have questions about your family history in relation to slavery, whether ancestors who were slave-holders/ enslavers or ancestors who were enslaved, we invite you to join our local discussion group. We meet monthly to share our research experiences and to discuss the challenges that come from uncovering difficult long-hidden truths. Our meetings include an educational component helpful to both new and experienced researchers and a time to discuss how our research connects to the current struggles for racial justice.

Our next monthly meeting is Thursday, May 27, 6-8 pm, via Zoom.

If you are interested in participating, contact doriew@radicalrootsgenealogy.org for more information.
