We are looking for kids ages 9 to 14 to join Jericho’s FIRST Lego League team. If you have a child interested in robotics, science, math, technology, engineering, or programming, then this is a great way to have fun while fostering your child’s technical education! While the content is science/robotics related, the goal of FIRST is to have fun while working in a team and solving problems together.

There is a fair amount of parent and child involvement so please respond only if you are able and willing to give it some serious commitment. Starting at the beginning of the school year and lasting throughout the fall, the team will likely meet two to three times a week after school/weekends and will have homework assignments in between meetings. Participation is limited to 10 kids. 21 Teams from our local region (VT and NH) will compete in a robotics tournament at a location that is TBD in November.
