Kids! We Need Your Help Planting an Herb Garden!

Past event
Jun 2, 2021, 5 to 6:30 PM

The Marshfield Community Garden invites children in grades K-5 and their families to join Angie Barger, of The Tea Project, in creating a Marshfield Community Tea Garden which will be available to everyone who desires to nibble and sip its bounty.

When: Wednesday June 2nd from 5-6:30 pm (with a rain date of Saturday June 5th from 10-11:30 am)
Where: at the Marshfield Community Garden plots located at the Old Schoolhouse Common.

Kids interested in gardening and art can participate in planting the 8' x 4' raised garden bed with a variety of delightful culinary and medicinal herbs. We need helpers to plant, water, whisper positive affirmations to the herbs and decorate wooden name stakes for each of the seedlings.

You'll see the community gardens just to the right of the parking lot as you arrive at the OSC. We will have paint and art supplies available. See you there!

(We are encouraging mask wearing and physical distancing.)
