The information below was posted in Wolcott's FPF, but I don't think it made it to Hardwick's. The rail trail abuts our property and many others in East Hardwick and in Hardwick. I'm planning on attending this meeting, and would love to see other community members there to offer their input on this important topic. If you can't attend, there is information below on how to give input before the end of May. Lamoille Valley Rail Trail Management Plan Public Hearing - May 7

The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail Committee (LVRTC) is hosting a Public Hearing that will detail the newly revised Management, Development and Maintenance Plan for the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The Public Hearing will be conducted via Vermont Interactive Television (VIT). It will be broadcast from the VIT site at Lyndon State College in Lyndon and televised to the following VIT sites: Lyndon, Montpelier, Johnson and St. Albans.

The newly revised plan will be presented during the first 45 minutes of the presentation. The remainder of the time, 1 hour and 45 minutes, will be used to take comments and/or answer questions from the public. Public comments on the plan will be taken until Friday, May 30, 2014 -4:00 PM EST

The LVRT management team will review all comments and consider their inclusion into the plan; and a final draft of the plan will be delivered to VTrans by Friday, August 01, 2014.
