With the warmer weather upon us, we will start holding Library Storytime outdoors and in-person every Tuesday morning at 9:30 beginning May 25th! Join us on the library patio for songs, rhymes, read-aloud stories, felt and magnet board stories, and group activities that are fun AND help develop young children's pre-literacy skills. Storytime will be followed by a simple craft activity, snacks, and coffee. We will also bring out our new rolling picture book bins, stocked with old favorites and new titles that you can check out and take home! Library Storytime is always free and open to everyone, and no registration is required. For now, we request that adults and children over 2 years old wear masks when arriving to the library, and it's fine to remove them once settled in a space away from other families.
While at the library, be sure to visit this month's new StoryWalk, "Ragweed's Farm Dog Handbook." Our StoryWalk is installed on the library grounds to the left of the library entrance - just follow the sidewalk to the first story panel, then enjoy some outdoor time with your little ones as you walk along and read together!
