The Milton Selectboard hereby provides notice of public hearing held pursuant to Title 24, Section 4444 of the Vermont Statues Annotated for the purpose of hearing public comment on the Planning Commission’s proposed edits to the Unified Development Regulations.

PURPOSE OF HEARING
The purpose is to receive public comment on proposed edits to the Unified Development Regulations.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The Unified Development Regulations were adopted by the Milton Selectboard on September 18, 2017. The purpose of the proposed revisions is to improve clarity of the regulations, update the regulations to align with housing bill S.237, create more opportunities for establishing small businesses, enable development of more housing options, bring uniformity to zoning permit extension periods, clarify administrative procedures, and further implement the goals and policies of the 2018 Town of Milton Comprehensive Plan and the Vermont Planning and Development Act.
