David Budbill Reading at Vermont Studio Center

As part of its annual Vermont Artists Week, the Vermont Studio Center is pleased to announce that poet David Budbill will be reading Wednesday, April 30 at 8:00pm in the Lowe Lecture Hall on Main Street, followed by readings by VSC writers in residence. Free and open to the public.

David Budbill is the author of seven books of poems, eight plays, a novel, a collection of short stories, a picture book for children, dozens of essays, introductions, speeches and book reviews, the libretto for an opera and is a performance poet on two CDs. He was for a time a commentator on National Public Radio’s All Things Considered.

Vermont Artists Week was created in 1984 to support Vermont’s visual artists and writers with an intensive week of studio work and fellowship with other artists from throughout the state.
