Lake Paran Birdathon

Past event
May 22, 2021, 9 AM

Since Lake Paran is a haven for a diverse species of birds, we want to expand the joys of birding to community members who want to learn more. Lead by Kage Brower, Lake Paran Board alumni and local lifelong birder, join us for a bird walk to learn more about identifying birds and supporting a great cause.

This event is part of the larger Audubon Birdathon which is an annual spring fundraiser where participants compete to count as many bird species as possible in a 24-hour period while fundraising for bird conservation. We will set out a donation jar before and after the walk to raise money for Audubon VT or you can donate to the Lake Paran team page:

New and experienced birders welcome!

Meet at the Lake Paran pavilion @ 9am,
Bring binoculars and Northeast Region bird guide if desired.
Recommend light colored clothing so ticks can be seen easier.
