What if Middlesex Village was connected by a river trail to Walter Kelley Park?
Lets find out. Please join the Planning Commission on Wednesday May 19th at 6pm to kickoff our exploration of these ideas through the Middlesex Streetscape and River Trail Scoping study at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85428937500
This scoping study will develop more detailed designs and costs for future streetscape and walking trail improvements as outlined in the Walkable Middlesex Village Study.
This project will provide the Town a number of benefits beyond the original Walkable Village Study:
• Defined topography and public right of way within the Village Center.
• Expansion of the river trail concept to connect Church Street, Camp Meade and potentially Town River Access at Walter Kelley Park.
• Preliminary cultural and environmental permitting investigation
• Detailed designs and cost estimates for a more pedestrian friendly village center
