Silent Vigil Against Racism

Past event
May 23, 2021, 1 to 1:30 PM

Every Sunday since George Floyd was murdered on May 25, 2020, there has been a vigil in his memory and for racial justice from 1:00 to 1:30 on the grassy margin between St. James' Episcopal Church and Rt. 7A in Arlington.

This Sunday, May 23, we hope to have a show of numbers, to recognize and bear witness against the anniversary of Floyd's murder, the deaths of unarmed Black people at the hands of police, and violence against Black and Indigenous people and People of Color.

Please consider joining the vigil. We will gather as usual from 1:00 to 1:30, either with appropriate signs or merely in silent witness. We will follow current COVID-19 guidelines.
