ESCAPE FIRE explores the challenges of the current health care system, and the role of innovative “high-touch," low-cost approaches to prevention and healing. The film was featured at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, and has won several awards. This event marks the beginning of our initiative to expand and strengthen the on-going partnership between the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, The College of Medicine, Fletcher Allen Health Care and the Laura Mann Center as we continue to develop the platform for Integrative Health in Vermont that can reach all members of our community.
