SBRD- Kites in the Park, Playground Closing, Upcoming Programs
Kites in the Park- Friday, May 2, 6-8pm at Dorset Park Bandshell. Flyer- http://www.sburlrecdept.com/documents/Flyer.KitesPark.pdf
Playground Closing- The Playground structure at Dorset Park is closed for needed repairs and possible upgrades. It has been determined that the frost, after the long cold winter, has shifted the structure and created some possible hazards. For the safety of everyone the playground structure will be fenced off until repairs can be finished. We are looking at the possibility of doing some upgrades at the same time, as was the plans for this structure. In the mean time the playground structures at Jaycee Park and Farrell Park are open and just around the corner. Farrell Park is on Swift Street next to Vermont Gas and Jaycee Park is on Patchen Road, near the Post Office. Farrell Park is a 2-12 years structure and Jaycee is a 5-12 years.
