The two remaining members of the Plainfield Cemetery Commission will meet at 5:30, Thursday afternoon, at the Village Cemetery to appoint one or more volunteers to serve on the commission so that we will have at least three members to be able to conduct regular business.

It will be a very short open air meeting with no digital communications support. Anyone interested is welcome to attend. We have one committed volunteer, one prospective volunteer, and one vacancy with no immediate prospects.

Social distance will be maintained, and State COVID recommendations will be followed. I encourage anyone to wear a mask, especially if they are not COVID vaccinated. The vaccinations are not 100% effective.
