The Newbury Book Discussion Group is taking up where we left off on Thursday, June 3rd, 7 PM at the Tenney Memorial Library. We'll finally get around to our discussion of David Grann's book "Killers of the Flower Moon." As reviewed on Goodreads; "No horror novella could possibly mirror the horrendous crimes that were visited upon the Osage Indian Nation in the 1920's. The catastrophic bungling of crime evidence, the leaks and sabotage, and the willful insidious behavior by unscrupulous individuals is mind-boggling......Grann's story reads like a well-tuned work of pure fiction. But as you turn the pages, you are aghast by the hardcore truth that awaits you." Get a copy of the book through inter-library loan from your local library and join us in June for what looks to be a really interesting discussion. Bring a mask.
