MEALS ON WHEELS HOSTS GOLF TOURNAMENT

MEALS ON WHEELS is holding it's 6th. ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT on Saturday June 26 and Sunday June 27th at Woodchuck Golf Course off East Warren Rd. on Palmer Lane in Waitsfield. All proceeds go to Meals On Wheels. The course is 6 holes, par 3 and 4 and takes about 1 ¼ hours to play the course. The tournament is a Scramble play! Rain or Shine. Teams of two or 4 ($50/person). If you do not have a team you can get paired up with others. There will be refreshments during the day. Tee Times are every hour and a quarter – 8 am, 9:15 am, 10:30 am 11:45 am, 1:00 Pm, 2:15 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:45 PM, If a specific time is desired, please sign up soon. There are prizes for the best team (and their names on our trophy), prizes for the team that has the biggest score (fun), Prizes for the closest to Pin #1 and #6, Prize for the oldest player. There will be raffle gift certificate prizes from local businesses. Mulligans will be sold throughout the day. NEW THIS YEAR- A women's tee box # 3 has been created and for this tournament we are dedicating it to Nancy Colby who supported us and always played on our ladies golfing team.
