Not Quite Independence Day 2021

Past event
Jul 10, 2021, 4 to 10 PM

The Waterbury Rotary Club is pleased to announce that NQID is back for 2021! The theme for this year is: "The Roaring 20s"

Due to the timeline for the Vermont reopening roadmap, the event this year will be held on July 10th, rather than the last Saturday in June.

Here's are the highlights of the day:
4pm - Parade on Main Street
5-9pm: Food, beverage, arts, & souvenir vendors at Rusty Parker Park,
6-9pm: Concert at Rusty Parker Park featuring local band Still Kickin'
At dark: Fireworks to be launched behind the state office complex, and visible from most areas in the village.

All participants and attendees will be expected to follow the state's Universal Guidance, including staying home if you are sick, maintaining safe distances, and wearing masks in crowded areas. It's particularly important to space out as much as possible for the parade. Please plan to spectate along the entire route and avoid crowding the area between Park Row and Stowe Street.

More details on the event and safety protocols will be communicated on https://www.facebook.com/waterburyvtrotary/
