On Thursday, May 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM the Vermont Council on Rural Development and Vermont's Climate Economy Action Team will host a virtual forum for residents of the NEK with local business and education leaders to highlight how confronting the climate crisis can also create economic opportunities for Vermonters.

Please join to hear from Jasper Hill Co-Owner, Matteo Kehler; Albany green home builder, Dylan Kinsey; NVU Climate Change Degree Program Director, Janel Hanrahan; and Craftsbury Outdoor Center Co-Owner Judy Geer about how their businesses are tackling climate change and the opportunities they see for the NEK economy.

Audience members will also be encouraged to share their stories and visions for we can make Vermont more affordable, grow jobs and address the threat of climate change.
