After a long hiatus The Friends of the Moore Free Library are looking forward to gathering again. We have scheduled a meeting for Sunday, May 16, at 2:00. On the library grounds if weather permits. Otherwise, we have permission to meet inside with masking and distancing.

The item at the top of the agenda will be the annual book sale. Will we be able to continue to hold it in its customary form or do we need to explore other formats? The Friends group consists of a small core of dedicated volunteers who, unfortunately, are dwindling in numbers and in the physical strength essential to carrying out our mission: to raise funds to enhance the services and programs of our library.

We invite you to join us; we would be especially pleased to welcome younger, more robust members of our community! Please let me know if you would like to attend on the 16th. Thanks!
