Join us Saturday, May 15th for our first bird walk!

Members of the Rutland County Audubon Society will lead participants on a walk along Lake St. Catherine's Little Lake looking for American Redstarts, Yellow Warblers and Song Sparrows among other species. Arrive by 8:45 AM and be prepared for light rain. Bring binoculars if you have them, but we'll try to have a few extras. Everyone should dress appropriately and guard against ticks. We will hold two drawings for some wonderful bird-related items including lovely embroidered bird caps and on-topic books. Members of Lake St. Catherine Conservation Fund, Inc. will join us to answer questions about lake health and its effect on local avian populations.
