Birding in the Tunbridge Town Forest

The Tunbridge Conservation Commission is glad to offer a birding walk, Saturday May 15 from 7:30-9:30 AM.

This time of year is Nirvana for birders. Join us to as we explore the birds of the Tunbridge Town Forest located on Recreation Road (known as the Town Garage Lot). Some species are passing through, others are staking out territories while others are already nesting. We hope to see and hear a variety of songbirds. No experience is necessary. The hike will be led by Neil Fitzgerald and Michael Sacca of the Tunbridge Conservation Commission.

Please wear appropriate footwear, light colored clothing and long sleeves for tick prevention and bring a also bring a mask. Binoculars and a field guide are useful additions. A few pair of loaner binoculars are available on a first come first, serve basis. The hike will be through some hilly terrain.
