About the Workshop:
In this workshop we will address the critical importance of your people to customer experience success. This is all too familiar in Vermont where the hospitality industry currently lacks 9,000 workers. The lack of workers alone threatens the ability to give a great customer experience. Staff shortages are happening all over the country due to a myriad of complex and interdependent issues. We cannot solve the workforce issues overnight, but we can build a stronger organizational foundation to support, retain and attract new employees for a more sustainable workforce. While decent compensation is a prerequisite for the employee experience, there are many more factors that impact it. In this workshop we will discuss what it means to say that EX=CX (employee experience equals customer experience) and demonstrate that our employees are also our customers. When we put our employees at the center of our business priorities and apply similar strategies and frameworks, our employees will thrive and so will the customer experience. In this workshop you will learn about research and the mindset and tactics that help improve your employee experience. This is a highly interactive session where you can dialogue and learn with other colleagues working in customer service businesses.
