Thursday morning on Goddard College Community Radio: Two sets of meaningful conversations around building community resilience.
9:00 - 10:00 am
How to expand affordable broadband in Vermont? Build safe and welcoming communities for people of color? Support business creation? These and other questions will be addressed May 26-27 at the Summit on the Future of Vermont, held online and organized by the Vermont Council on Rural Development (VCRD). VCRD staff member Jon Copans will give a preview.

Last month, we spoke with Mamie Stewart about how to organize meetings to be efficient and have fun. This week, Plainfield resident Rae Carter will talk about moving away from efficiency and towards making sure voices at the table are heard and respected, in groups like white women learning together about anti-racism. She says she radically changed her views of the sort of conversations she wants to be part of after a diagnosis of breast cancer.
